Everyday English for Immigrant Adults

A practical learning product built around real-life English scenarios, multilingual support, targeted intervention, retry, retrieval, and transfer.

01 / Problem

Practice the English people need in real situations.

Many adult learners can study vocabulary or grammar and still struggle when they need to use English in a pharmacy, workplace, school, clinic, or service interaction.

The product challenge was to build a learning loop around actual use: attempt first, diagnose the breakdown, give the smallest useful support, retry, then revisit the skill later in a changed context.

02 / What I Built

A scenario-based learning loop, not a content library.

The product centers on independent attempts, deterministic evaluation, targeted intervention, retry, delayed retrieval, and transfer across real-life situations.

01

Real-life English scenarios

02

Bangla, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, and Spanish support

03

Independent attempt before help

04

Targeted intervention and retry

05

Delayed retrieval and changed-context transfer

06

Local learner progress and persistence

03 / Product Decisions

Support the learner without doing the work for them.

01

Attempt before assistance

The learner responds independently first so support can target the actual breakdown instead of replacing the task.

02

Smallest useful intervention

Feedback is designed to give only enough help to make the next attempt more productive.

03

Multilingual scaffolding

Instructions and support can appear alongside the learner’s language while the target task remains English.

04

Return to the skill later

Retrieval and transfer are built into the learning model so success is not measured only by an immediate retry.

04 / What It Demonstrates

Product thinking applied to learning design.

Learning-loop design
Multilingual UX
RTL support
Deterministic evaluation
Intervention design
Retrieval practice
Progress persistence
Mobile-first product design

05 / Try the Demo

Try one complete learning loop.

You do not need to complete every scenario to understand the product. One full attempt → intervention → retry loop demonstrates the core learning mechanism.

01

Choose a support language and open a real-life English scenario.

02

Make the first attempt before asking for help.

03

Review the targeted intervention, then retry the same skill.

04

Switch language or direction where available to see how learner state and multilingual support are preserved.

06 / Current Status

A working Founder Alpha with a live public demo.

The public demo is now live. Production backend work, consent infrastructure where required, and launch-level content expansion can continue separately without changing the core learning model.

07 / Launch Updates

Follow Everyday English for Immigrant Adults as it develops.
